Our surgeons use the latest techniques, including state of the art day-stay cataract microsurgery and phaco-emulsification, which allow most people not to need stitches thanks to a self-sealing 3mm (1/8 inch) clear corneal incision.

We then replace the old cataractous lens with an intra ocular lens implant to correct your long/short-sightedness and/or astigmatism.

This technique can free you from your cataracts and sometimes your glasses too. This technique does not require needles, only eye-drop local anaesthetic.
